Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

our neighbor died with no will. His family lives in another country. What should they do to be able to sell his home and pay his utilities?

They can hire a probate lawyer to clear title to the property. They can then list and sell the property. Probate lawyers do this all the time. I'd need to know a little more information before I can tell which procedures and the costs, however.
