Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Suite

If the party you are suing has been notified by your lawyer that he's being suied, and than your lawyer tells you after that he has not being working on the case for a while. Does this means the case is still in suite.

Re: Suite

Depends on whether or not a lawsuit has been filed with the courts. Just saying "I'm suing you!" doesn't make a lawsuit. If it has been filed with the courts, then it probably is still ongoing, unless the court has dismissed it for want of prosecution.

Ask your lawyer why he hasn't done anything for a while. It's a fair question.
