what rights does an adopted daughter who abandon her parents at age 18 and has not had contact until about 4 years ago and then only once a year at christmas. she and others have come out of the wood work since another person has become their friend and caretaker in the last 3 yrs. she is in the will for $1000 (estate is worth 1.5 million)

An adopted child has the same rights in Texas as a child of blood. They also have rights against their biological parents.
