Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

i applied for a passport at the passport office in nigeria and i was issued and i used the passport to apply for a spouse visa which was also duly issued to me . i used this same passport to enter the uk and i went back to nigeria after three weeks to get some money to for me and my family to get a bigger apartment but on my way back to uk i was not allowed to enter i was told that my passport was either forged ,alter or has been tampered with. i was later detained and later allow to enter the uk on a temporary admission and i was given the right to apply cos my visa had already been cancelled . pls what can i do and how do i go on with the apply also what chance do i have. cos my wife is realy down and am not feel fine bout all this

Can you please clarify what you mean by "right to apply"? Do you mean right to appeal?

If you have a right to appeal the time limits are very limited and you should seek legal advice immediately. In the meantime you should also contact your embassy in Nigeria to have them verify that your passport is genuine, as offences relating to forgery are treated very seriously and can result in you being banned from coming back to the UK for several years.
