Legal Question in Real Estate Law in United Kingdom

I purchased a plot of land but before it was registered with the Land Registry the vendor was declared bankrupt. Who is now the legal owner of the land, me or the Trustee in Bankruptcy?

If you had a clear priority search and applied to register the Land within the priority period then you can register your title. If not the land will have vested in the Trustee and you will need to get the transfer re signed by the Trustee.
