Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in United Kingdom

court case for transfer of equity

I have been divorced for ten years and have finally gotten around to having my ex-husband's name taken off mortgage. He has not responded to any letters from my solicitor and we are not in contact. If he doesn't attend the court hearing how will this affect the case?

The district judge will require certain proof that everything has been done to contact your former husband and that he is deliberately ignoring your application. If so satisfied and if properly prepared application should succeed
