Does direct idictment have to be 100& right in order for the court to issue a capias for the arrest of the person

A deficient indictment can issue and a person can be arrested based on that indictment. Indictments are often amended by prosecutors when they realize there has been a clerical or other error. Sometimes a defective indictment that is not corrected can also be a blessing for a criminal defendant because it may be a viable defense to a criminal charge.
