Legal Question in Family Law in United States Virgin Islands

Tempoary custody

I have two children . Their father hasn't seen them in a year . His mother wants me to take the children to stay with her for a month in the summer . I want to have a contract signed by her that says she is responsible for the children and their return to me at the stated time . Also she needs a paper signed by me giving her permisson to take the children to the hospital in case of emergancy . Where can I find these documents ?

Re: Tempoary custody

You did not say if the g-mother is in this state or another. I'd rec'd that you forego this incident. She could file for guardianship wherever and you'd have a real mess.

Let her come to your town and visit the kids.

Also, see your local DA to get support. It's free.
