Legal Question in DUI Law in Utah

Paying for an Ambulance I did not want

I was parked and fell asleep in my

car waiting for my ride. the police

were called and I was charged with a

DUI. The police called an ambulance.

I was very intoxicated, but I did not

need, request, or authorize an

ambulance; I was pretty much told I

had to go though. I went to the

hospital and didn't need any

treatment. I was then taken to jail.

The ambulance compnay wants me

to pay a huge bill. Is this bill truly

my legal responsibility to pay? Do I

have a legal schance to fight this

charge?
