Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

Child Custtody

I live in the state of Utah. I am want to divorce my husband, we have a one year old son together. I was wondering if I could leave the state of Utah and go to Nevada to live with my mom? I have no where else to live in Utah. I want to make sure I can do this before I go.

Re: Child Custtody

You may leave the state as long as there is not a current court order restricting the removal of the child from the state. You should give the father notice of your new location.
