Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

child support

If an ex-husband had been hiding his income in order to pay less child support, would his living conditions (ie.wealthy wife) have been considered in court to raise his child support amount? In other words, if his children were living in poverty and he was only paying $200 for 2 children while he lived in mansions and drove BMW's, would his current wife have been partially responsible for his minor children's support. This is a follow up to my estate question, because now he has passed away and I wonder how we might claim passed support and some future support (until the children are 18) if the entire estate ends up being his wifes.

Re: child support

The husband is solely responsible for his debts. The new wife has no responsibility.
