Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

My kids were placed into dcfs when my 3 kids and I were with my boyfriend and we got pulled over. He had a meth pipe on his seat and I had a warrant for a speeding ticket. My boyfriend and I were arrested but the officer wouldn't let me call anyone to pick my kids up. I was charged with 2 class C misdemeanors for attempt child endangerment. But dcfs still won't give my children back.? I'm very confused and need help.

A shelter hearing should be held, or if it has already been held you need to petition the court for return of your children.
