Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Utah
Having found out that our landlord is a pedafile and was not made aware of it at the time of the lease,we have daughters with children and now do not feel safe coming to the home,we feel in our best interest that we should be able to break our lease of 6 months and onlying being into to the lease of 2 months and get our depoist back,what is our rights ?

You will need to be able to prove that the presence of the pedophile made the premises unsafe and uninhabitable. You can also claim that the failure to disclose was a material breach of the contract.
