Legal Question in Personal Injury in Utah

Letter on how this accident has effected my life

I need to write a letter on how a accident that my husband was involved in has effected my life today. I am not good at writing and need some examples to follow, to help win our claim. An 18 wheeler ran over him while he was a cop on duty responding to a call. He no longer can work that job as an officer, (they retired him from the force)they have taken his whole life away, his dream. And screwed up our lifes as he is no longer the same person that I met and married. Don't know if you can help me out or not. Thank you...

Yes I can help. I am a former cop who had to give up that dream and understand how your husband must feel. In addition to the benefits from the department, your husband should be able to recover from the trucking company enough to cover all of this past, present and future medical bills, and an additional amount which can be used for retraining in another career, plus for lost wages, pain and suffering.
