Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Virginia

can a debt collector say collecting for a credit card that you are paying on, request your bank statement, 6 pay stubbs and a list of your bills?

Absolute Law No. At least not unless you're trying to settle the debt based on hardship. And remember that any information provided can be used against you.
