Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia

I had a roommate who i considered a business partner. There was nothing in paper but we had a slight verbal agreement. When i say slight,i mean "i help you,you help me".Not a very complicated relationship but there are still lines.I had started a new job doing security(nightshift) on the night of an event in which i would be attending and performing at.I had made 10 t-shirts for me and any other supporters of our group.3 People(including my roommate) already had shirts that i loaned to them. The shirts were 8 dollars each.I've come to agreement with the other parties that i would be paid when they could. When i left,my roommate thought it would be even better if he grabbed 2 brand new shirts out of my room for two other people for them to wear for the night. He didn't consult me about this decision and i ended up finding out when i got home the next morning. Also,i didn't give him any authority on the t-shirts i ordered with my credit card.I was fair and asked for him to wash the shirts and sell them + give me the money for his shirt in April 2011..It is now mid may and i am losing patience because he made it seem like it was no problem to sell the shirts.Prior to this event,i had followed up with him a couple of times to catch an update and i have been given the run-around.I asked him on 5/19 that i want my money by 5/22 at 12 AM and if not,i would be getting rid of the recordings i have done with him which were recorded on my time for free and that other actions would ensue. What should i do?

If you believe that you have a valid claim for these shirts, sue him in small claims court.
