Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

I bought a foreclosure property in Virginia Beach . The person living there refuses that I enter the house .

1- am I allowed to give her 24 hour notice to enter the house

2- Am I allowed to go onto my property ( outside ) without notice to inspect a- The pool , Jacuzzi . Back yard etc ( no intent on entering the house on this second question )

Afraid she may damage and claim that it has been like that for months !

Thank You Bob

You as the new owner of this foreclosed property would seem well advised to give this holdover notice to vacate the property by a date certain, and, if

it doesn't happen, then file your warrant for unlawful detainer action in the local

general district court to have the person legally evicted.

And, yes, in the interim, as the owner I see no reason as to why you could not carry out the inspections you've referenced in #2.
