i received a summons and called to speak with the company. Is it legal for them to bring a judgement against me when I have made payment arraignments with them already. I have paid them faithfully every month. Is this something they can do?

Re: judgement

If you owe the money, the company can

file an action to obtain a judgment against you. If such a case has been filed and a hearing scheduled, you should make arrangements to attend the hearing and speak with the attorney representing the company to apprise him or her of the settlement arrangements which you allege have already been made in the matter.
