Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I mistakingly applied for a credit card in my sisters name. once i realized the mistake, i used the card unknowing of the consequence. i want to pay the balance in full (it is less than $1000) will the credit card company still press charges?

So, pay it off and close the account and chances are that nothing will come of it.
