What rights do I have? I file a warrant in debt on a company that suppose to do some work for me back in January. I wrote a check to the company. I never receive the work to be done and did not receive any money back. Now I the first time to court he did not show. Now I have to go back again. Where is my rights? I worked hard for that money to have work done on my home. The judge gave me a code to read but can not fine it. Can you give me advice

Until this paperwork has been properly served on the correct defendant in your lawsuit, the

court cannot award you a default judgment.
