Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I know somebody who has 3 robbery charges and 2 gun charges for prince William county which he served 12 years for and for fair fax county he has 1 robbery charge which he is about to start his 13 years for that wen he first got the charges they told him if he told on whoever helped him he will only get 5 years and he didn't tell they ended up telling on him but for fair fax they they never caught who actually did the robberies they jus know my friend was the getaway driver even tho its been 12 years if he makes a deal wit the fair fax common wealth or tell them who did the robbery with him will he have a chance of getting his time reduced or ran concurrent

So, how would anyone in this particular forum have any idea at all as to how to respond to this question?

The convicted one or his attorney should contact the Office of Commonwealth's Attorney for Fairfax County, Virginia, to determine what they may have to say about the matter (if anything at all).
