Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Assult & Battery

I was wondering should I go talk to the D.A. & tell him that a couple of statemements I made to the police when I called them were not true about what my husband did to me or should I just wait until I go to court? We are back together. My husband laywer knows the whole true story.

Re: Assult & Battery

If you're the Commonwealth's chief complaining witness in this criminal matter, by all means, contact the prosecutor assigned to the case ASAP and own up to your fabrications before you end up perjuring yourself on the witness stand and, perhaps, facilitating a miscarriage of justice in the prosecution of your husband's case.
