What is the max sentencing for a class 6 felony assault, 3rd offense charge and a class 1 misdemenor assualt on a co habitant in the city of newport news virginia?

max penalty on class 6 felony is 5 years. The max penalty on class 1 misdemeanor is 12 months in jail and/or $2500. Any potential sentence on the felony will be determined in part by sentencing guidelines.

Class 1 misdemenaor---max penalty = 12 months in local jail and $2500 fine
