Concerns over assigned Public Defender in Charlottesville Virginia

Being charged with CC Fraud that I did not commit and was assigned Public Defender. I want to fight this charge to the very best of my ability but the attorney I was assigned has a ''can't be bothered attitude'' and is totally unhelpful I can't afford a retainer. Are there private criminal attorneys that take cases either Pro Bono or on a payment plan in the Charlottesville Virginia area?

Although most attorneys require a retainer the size of it varies. Someone in my office may be able to help you or refer you to someone who can.
