Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

So my husband installs satellite for a living. He was headed to a job and his gps led him down a road. He saw no signs about trespassing or private property. A guy asked for his license and told him he would be charging him with criminal trespass. My husband turned around and got off the property immediately. The guy did charge him and it is a class 1 misdemeanor in Virginia. When he went to court last week, the guy was upset that he wasn't going against the satellite company. Today, he got a court date for a civil case for this same thing. Is this something we should be worried about both criminally and civilly? He has never been in any trouble before. He is 43 and a veteran. I am really worried about how this will affect our family.

Your husband is in need of a competent criminal defense counsel to represent

him in this matter who may be able to get the charge dismissed before

trial or win a verdict of acquittal if in fact it ends up being tried before a

judge of the general district court.
