Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

was indicted for possession of firearm by a felon. offense date of 11/30/09. on 10/19/10 was acquitted by a jury. during the trial admitted to moving the weapon from one place to another on 2/18/10 (search warrant date). after being acquitted was rearrested and recharged for same offense; however they are using a diffferent date, 2/18/10. is this double jeopardy.

No, not if it's a separate and distinct crime (felon in possession of firearm) from the one of which you were acquitted.
