Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Tresspassing

I live in DC and ride the subway (metro) on a regular basis. At one particular station I often get harrassed by a female officer assigned to the station (who I feel has a personal bias against me although I have no way to prove that.) Well to make a long story short..I went to get on the train one time and was stopped by this officer and told I could not board the train. I asked why I couldnt leave her response was ''because I said so'' For the next minute I tried to reason with her and explain that I had no other way to get home no phone and that I needed to catch the last train before I was stranded. The officer was very authorative and just wouldnt listen. So the last train comes and goes and I inform her that her detainment has caused me to miss my last train and I am stranded. She tells me thats not her problem, I need to leave. I say this situation is fucking bullshit and as I turn to leave she maces me in the face and tries to charge me with Disorderly conduct. The charge wont stick cause I did nothing wrong, so the DA changes it to Tresspassing and now we have a trial by jury coming up.

QUESTION: Is it tresspassing if I am first detained from leaving and then it causes me to be stranded?

Re: Tresspassing

Trespassing in a public venue such as a metro station? No, I don't think so.
