welafare fraud

they had a meeting and the lady that went called me and said for me to go put myself in jail.and i have cancer.should i put myself in jail and leave my kids.i needed the welafare for chemo,

No, I would not recommend that you

attempt to put yourself in jail(however that might be accomplished), but, of course, if charges are filed against you by the local prosecutor's office for fraudulently obtaining some form of public funds to which you may not have been legally entitled, then, it's possible that you might be spending some time there in the local slammer, if you're convicted.
