Legal Question in DUI Law in Virginia

I just recently (May 2010) accepted a plea deal for DUI in GA. I'm required to take DUI class, pay fines and have already received my restricted drivers license for GA. However, I moved to Virginia on June 1st for my job. How do I obtain a valid license in Virginia (whether restricted or not)? Also, can my DUI classes be completed in VA instead of GA?

You must file a petition with the appropriate Virginia general district traffic court

regarding your eligibility to secure a restricted driver's license in the

Commonwealth.

As to whether you may have your Georgia probation transferred for

completion to Virginia, that determination would most likely be up to the probation office in Georgia that is responsible for your case.
