fees billed by attorneys

I had signed a contract for a separation agreement, paid the $1,000 fee. Lawyer later advised me sign the agreement my husband provided ''as is''. Am I entitlted to a refund from my lawyer?

Yes, if the attorney did no work in your behalf which could be characterized as reasonably billable for which you had hired her or him.
