Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am seperating from my husband and my car loan is in his name he is saying i cannot take my car with me until i get the loan put in my name is there anything legally he can do if i leave with the car being that we got it while we were married

Unlikely, absent a valid court order requiring you to turn this car over to him, since as you've noted, the car is most likely currently considered marital property under Virginia law.
