I have been out of work due to major surgery for the last 8 weeks and now my employer wants me to pay for my medical insurance. Is this legal and what an I do?

Re: medical insurance on FMLA

Not much (but pay it), unless you're working under a contract which guarantees the payment of such insurance by your employer.
