Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Question

I had a boyfriend for five years. Him and I accumulated a lot of credit card bills but nothing in his name. He refuses to pay anything now is there anything that I can do legally even if his name isn't on anything. He spent probably about half on all the credit cards.
