Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

My wedding vendors did not come through

I recently got married. My caterer was responsible to do the cleanup at the hall. The facility says we didnt clean up, the caterer said they did the cleanup. Unfortunately I've been charged $500 by the facility because they stand by the hall not being cleaned. Who do I turn to. I have a contract with the caterer to clean up the hall. Caterer has employees sign a form stating it was clean. Halll says it was not end of story... money charged to my card. I need help on who to turn to for return of my money.

Re: My wedding vendors did not come through

You could sue the caterer in your local small claims court for your losses, but in order to prevail you will need to produce credible proof at the scheduled hearing on the matter that the caterer failed to fullfill its obligations under the contract.
