Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I live in Virginia, and I have a roommate in my apartment. I do not own the apartment I just simply rent. I had the chance to add another roommate on the lease but she declined to sign the lease due to the application fee and the short period in which she would be living in the area. Well she agreed to stay as a guest and help out with rent (accepted payment). Now I would like her to live my apartment (she's loud, doesnt clean, etc.) and she will not leave. What can I do?

You'll now need to have this "guest" evicted according to the standard eviction

procedures which apply to regular tenants under Virginia law if she continues to

refuse to leave voluntarily. Go to the clerk's office(civil division) of your local general district court and tell one of the clerk's that you need to initiate an unlawful detainer action and she or he will give you the paperwork which needs to be filled out to start this action.
