Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

misrepresenting a law

We are having lots of problems with our lease. But what concerns me is that my husband was discharged from the military and in the lease it states that if he was heis able to terminate the lease under the servicemembers relief act. I looked that up and the relief act states only if he joins the military or gets orders to move. so either the lease is illegal or can I submit my case to the landlord and move out since we agreed on that term in the lease?

Re: misrepresenting a law

Better have an attorney review the terms of this lease before you take it upon yourself to move out before its natural termination date.
