Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

I recieve 790.00 from social sercuity and child support takes 343.00 out of that and I have other bills to pay such as rent and utilitys,what can I do to make my child support payments smaller s that I can be able to pay my rent and utilties. And I need info. on Homestead Exemption to keep from being evecited.

You could petition the court having jurisdiction over the matter for

a reduction in the amount of your current support obligation

(unless you've already attempted this and been denied based upon the same income factors as currently apply to you and the custodial caretaker).

Your claim for a Homestead Deed Exemption would be unlikely

to forestall your eviction from your current rental premises (in my opinion).
