Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

Someone is trying to sue me .

i had a two year lease, with another person who was the head of household. I also had a son which i was hoping to bring into the home but was unable to do so becasue my roommate/other tenant was parting , and i couldn't bring my child into that enviroment , so i contacted the leasing office and told them that i wanted to be removed...in writing , and then i moved out, they wouldn't let me off of the lease because i had such a high income and the other tenant couldn't pay for the full portion, although she had someone living there that wasn't on the lease, for the entire time. Eventually that person tryed to get on the lease but was denied due to credit, so i left an i payed for the month after i left and she said that she was fine , i made efforts to find someone to replace me on the lease , but no one wanted to move in ..so she made efforts and still no luck , i asked her if she needed help paying for everything and she said no they were fine. so two months went by and now she is moving out , and i'm still on the lease so she asked if i could help pay for some things , i agreed to pay 500 dollars for the termantion fee and to have the gutters cleaned, now she is trying to sue me for the other months that she payed.

Re: Someone is trying to sue me .

Your question is so poorly worded that I simply can't determine whether it's the landlord or your former co-tenant who is attempting to sue you for something.
