What is the statute of limitations for filing a medical

malpractice suit if you were a minor at the time the

malpractice occurred and if the malpractice caused a

lifetime disability that did not manifest itself until years

later?

The applicable law regarding this type of malpractice would be the state in which it allegedly occurred. Under the circumstances you've described, you would probably have somewhere between two and five years after the malpractice was either discovered or could have been discovered with reasonable diligence to bring the action against the alleged perpetrator.
