Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

My 16 year old was in a car accident, he hit another car. He was charged with failure to yield but the ticket was dropped. Can the other driver sue his parents?

Of course, he could try, but would be most disappointed when his case was dismissed. However, that in no way means that this particular driver would be prohibited from lodging his claim for damage compensation with your insurance carrier which presumably also covered your son at the time of this accident.
