Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

my daughter (18yrs old) received a warrant in debt relating to an automobile accident for $25,000. She has been to court over the accident and the judge dismissed it. However, the plaintiff (who refused medical treatment) is suing her. does my insurance company handle this or should a lawyer be contacted. I feel this is a fraudulent claim..

If your daughter is covered under your policy, refer the matter to your insurer.

(You should bear in mind, however, that merely because the traffic case against

your daughter has been dismissed, does not necessarily mean that she

cannot be found civilly liable for the plaintiff's alleged damages resulting

from this accident.)
