Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Can you charge rent for a car?

I had a tenant at the house who moved out - he left his car behind and has made no effort to reclaim the car or remove the car from property. Am I able to charge him a storage fee?

Yes, of course, you could assess a reasonable charge for storing this vehicle, but, perhaps, by now you need to consider it as abandoned property and have it towed away to somewhere.
