Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

When me and my husband got divorced, we had 2 houses and so he got one house and I got the other. After the divorce, his house went into foreclosure and he didn't pay any of the homeowners association fees. Well, I got a court order saying that I'm being sued for the homeowners association fees he didn't pay. Do I have to pay it even though we split? My name was pulled out of the house title when we divorced but I'm not sure if my signature went in the homeowners association contract when we first signed it? Do I have legal responsibility to pay that fee?

Hard to say without reviewing the pertinent documents (including what you claim is indicating that you're being sued).

I would suggest that you arrange for a consultation with a local attorney to review these documents and the relevant facts surrounding the issue(s) and who then should be able to advise you, accordingly.
