Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Procedures for renting my now vacant home

I've recently move to Georgia, but instead of selling my house I would like to put it up for rent. After repairing the roof due to damage from the hurricane, what are my next steps and is there any way to lower my present mortgage payments on the house in VA now? Help.

You can lower your mortgage payments on the proposed rental facility by refinancing its mortgage at a lower rate.(Mortgage rates are now, supposedly, at their lowest rate in years.)

Also, you should turn the business of renting out the house(and keeping it rented) to a professional property management company located in the area where the house is situated. Under no circumstances should you attempt to handle these matters yourself from Georgia.
