Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Real Estate Law

My husband and I purchased a house that we were told was built in 1989. All of the documents that we received at closing state that 1989 was when the house was built. We just found out that it was actually built in 1977. Obviously the value of the house is not going to be what we would anticipate. What should we do?
