Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

My sister-in-law was driving my car that she has never driven before in Virginia. She is 59 yrs old and this would be the first Speeding ticket she has ever received!! The Officer said she was going 77 in a 65 mph. It was a Speed Trap. What can she do to get this ticket reduced to under 10 so that she will NOT get Insurance points? Does this work in Virginia?

Yes, but her best chance to achieve that is to probably hire a lawyer

who practices in the general traffic court in which she's been charged.

(Her completion of a traffic school course recommended by the court

in lieu of a guilty plea should not be beyond the realm of possibility

for this kind of case.)
