Speednig ticket in Va.

I am a NC resident and got a speeding ticket doing 59 in a 35 mile zone in Va. The ticket was for speeding and not reckless driving. I am 62 years old with no previous violations. Can I get the charge reduced to 44 in a 35, pay the fines , go to NC and Virgina driving schools and have the judge dismiss the charges when I have completed everything.

Yes, you may get the charge reduced, but whether the court will dismiss the charge entirely in return

for your doing the things mentioned would likely depend upon the practices which happen to be followed by the traffic judges in the particular Virginia jurisidiction which is handling the matter.
