What are my rights as an adult children if my father passed away recently and his wife is also decease. However the decease wife nieces are taking over?

If there is no will, you could apply to the clerk of the probate court where your father died to be appointed as the personal representative of his estate. However, if there is a valid will, then the person appointed as executor by your father would have the responsibility of administering his estate.
