Legal Question in Workers Comp in Virginia

i was hurt at work, worker's comp refused the claim saying it was an old injury. I have an medical award from worker's comp on the old injury . can i use the award to make worker's comp pay the claim?

First, I would not be so quick to accept the insurance company's judgment that you are suffering from an "old" injury. I would need more details to see if you might be entitled to a new Award. Second, as for the prior Award, whether or not you can get coverage under that Award depends upon how old it is, the circumstances of your current medical problems and other factors.

This is complicated and you need to consult with a qualified Virginia attorney before you proceed any further.
