Legal Question in Business Law in Washington
Business Trading name
To Whom It May COncern:
We have a company its trade name is registered in Washington State. However we found out there is a similiar trade name that was registered in Oregon Sate. Will there be any legal problem? if we expand our business into Oregon State and nationwide, eventhough business of both companies are different? What should we do about this? You may have serious problems if you expand your business into Oregon. Who used th ename first? You may wish to speak to a intellectual property lawyer regarding a federal trademark registration.
